What’s
the story with the hypatia sizes?
At hypatia, we have named our sizes in a non-conventional
way: small is beConfident, medium is beFeisty, large is
bePassionate and extra large is beBrilliant. We hope you
enjoy being the confident, feisty, passionate, brilliant
woman you are. Our size charts open in a new window, so
you can keep that window open as you progress to the store
to be sure you select your correct size. Who knows, maybe
you’ll begin thinking of hypatia sizes as you shop
for other apparel, too.
What
if I don’t fit into any of the sizes listed?
The last thing we want is for someone
to feel left out. If we do not offer a shirt in your size,
please email us at info@behypatia.com.
It may take a few weeks for us to get you your shirt, but
we will do our best to make that happen – we promise.
How
do I place an order?
We prefer you place an order by visiting the hypatia Boutique
on our site. But, if for some reason you do not wish to do
so, you can contact us at info@behypatia.com
and we will do our best to accommodate you. If you are
a retailer and would like to carry hypatia apparel in your
boutique, please fill out our contact form and we will contact
you promptly.
What
types of payments does hypatia accept?
hypatia accepts credit card payments (Visa, MasterCard, American
Express, Discover), money orders, cashier’s checks,
personal checks (item(s) will not be shipped until the check
clears), or payments through your PayPal account. If you prefer
to pay with other than a credit card or PayPal please email
your order to info@behypatia.com and we will provide you with
the information you will need to do so.
Why
does hypatia use PayPal when processing my payment?
PayPal is one of the largest online payment networks in the
world. Even without a PayPal account, we are able to accept
your payments using the credit cards listed above. Also, PayPal
uses SSL technology to keep your information safe and they
actively protect the privacy of your data, as we do.
Do
I have to pay sales tax?
Because we have established our business in the state of California,
sales tax will be charged only to California residents.
How
does hypatia protect my information?
Once you select the items you wish to purchase from our boutique,
your shopping experience is secured using SSL technology (check
the address bar for https:// to verify this – the “s”
signifies the site is secure). hypatia will only retain your
credit card information long enough to process your order.
We will not store it in our database. Please review our privacy
policy for more information.
When
can I expect to receive my hypatia shirt?
In most cases, you will receive your merchandise no later
than 14 days from the date you place your order. If for some
reason it will take longer, we will let you know.
Can
I ship to an address other than my billing address?
Currently, yes. But, this could change quickly if we are made
aware of any irresponsible actions.
What
if I live outside the United States and I want to order hypatia
apparel?
Please
email us at info@behypatia.com
and we will arrange the shipping details with
you. You will be responsible for paying tariffs and duty taxes
from your respective country.
What
if I need a different size or the merchandise is damaged?
Your merchandise may be exchanged within 14 days of receipt
if it is damaged or the wrong size. hypatia is not responsible
for any return shipping costs. hypatia will exchange your
merchandise and ship it back to you at our cost. If you wish
to make an exchange, follow the instructions for exchanging
merchandise on your invoice to ensure proper processing.
What
about refunds?
There are no refunds.

if I receive the wrong order?
We hope this never happens. We strive for perfection! But
if it does, please email us at info@behypatia.com.
hypatia will pay for additional shipping costs and we will
make sure we get you the correct merchandise.
